The positive endorphins continued to flow in 2017 and in September we once again were filled with joy at the possibility of me being pregnant. This time we were taking no chances and at the first sign of pregnancy we went straight to the doctor and had scans done. It was there in front of us this amazing little blob with the gentlest little heartbeat, we were instantaneously in love. It was finally going to happen we were going to have our own little family, we had weathered the storm and come out on top. After the pain of the first loss, we were apprehensive about telling people but we were also very grateful for the support we had been given the first time round. With this in mind and our hearts overflowing, we decided that we had to tell our families and would tell a few friends that were close to us. I looked after myself and was grateful for my friends and family who were around to support me and navigate this exciting time with me. By this stage, my husband had been moved to a site in QwaQwa in the Free State and we were once again travelling.
